TRNA’s training programs align with the guidelines and professional standards of the EMDR Association of Australia (EMDRAA).
Total Duration: 50 hours
20 hours of lecture (in-class learning)
20 hours of experiential practice (real clinical scenarios, not role-plays)
10 hours of group consultancy (case support and supervision)
Included: Five 2-hour sessions (10 hours total)
Optional: Additional individual consultation available at your own cost

EMDR Association of Australia (EMDRAA)
EMDR International Association (EMDRIA)
Trainer Accreditation: Accredited by EMDRAA
Mental health professionals with a degree and 2 years of clinical experience
Includes:
Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Mental Health Nurses, OTs, GPs (with psych training)
Social Workers: Accredited Mental Health Social Workers; AASW members (or eligible for membership) with 2 years full-time clinical experience in a mental health setting
ACA Level 3/4 Counsellors, PACFA Clinical Members
ANZACATA Creative Arts Therapists (Masters, AthR)
Interns/Students with 2 years’ experience (via EMDRAA Exceptional Circumstances form)
You can begin practicing EMDR after completing the training
Accreditation is optional and can be pursued later

🔄 Part 2 Course (for those who completed Part 1 elsewhere)
We do not offer a standalone Part 2 course. However:
If you completed Part 1 within the last 2 years, you may join the program starting Day 2 to complete your training requirements.
If it has been over 2 years, you are welcome to join the full program at the Part 2 rate, in recognition of your previous investment in EMDR training.
